Tharwa, Flynn and Cook parents and citizen associations (P&Cs) today called on the Labor, Liberal and Green Members of the Legislative Assembly to support a motion to re-open Primary Schools in Tharwa, Hall, Flynn and Cook. Hall P&C also welcome moves to re-open schools.
A motion to re-open Flynn, Cook, Hall and Tharwa was announced at Flynn Primary School today. The Liberals plan to put the motion to the Assembly in the next sitting (in mid-October).

The inquiry report into school closures has heavily criticised Labor’s school closures, but failed to recommend any substantive reform or to re-open Flynn.

Flynn Primary School and grounds meet the threshold criteria for heritage listing, according to a 4 September letter from The Chief Minister and Minister for Heritage.
