The Flynn Primary School P&C and the John Flynn Community Group have lodged an appeal in the ACT Supreme Court to overturn the decision by the Tribunal (ACAT) to refuse the school heritage listing.

Amongst other grounds, the Supreme Court will be asked to consider the definition of community under the Heritage Act, and the extent to which hearsay evidence should be prefered over sworn evidence. There may also be new evidence introduced as part of the appeal.
