Plans for Flynn put on hold, for now…

The Government is still considering the recommendations of the Purdon Report and no decision has been made on any of the former school sites.

Community and experts stake heritage claim for Flynn school

Prominent architectural, heritage and cultural organisations have supported a heritage nomination for the Flynn Primary School and grounds. The application was formally accepted by the ACT Heritage Council in April 2007, and it was the first step towards heritage listing of Flynn Primary School, Preschool, health centre and grounds.

Invitation to join Flying Doctor celebrations

The Ryal Flying Doctor Service has invited Flynn parents and citizens to join their 80th birthday celebration, to be held at bankstown on 17 May, 2007.
